Nestled in West Flanders sits a Trappist monastery responsible for the creation of Westvleteren XII, the top-rated beers in the world. Brewed by Trappist monks and to maintain their way of life, the beer is unavailable in stores and requires beer enthusiasts go on a pilgrimage to obtain it…until now.
After a recent trip to Belgium, owner of Convergent Games Trevor Lehmann brought back five bottles and has decided to raffle them off to the beer drinkers of Winnipeg for a good cause!
On January 29th, come to Barley Brothers (2005 Pembina), have a pint and purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win rare beers, prizes from local breweries and raise money for Winnipeg Harvest.
What is up for grabs in the raffle?
- Bottles of Westvleteren XII
- A fully-loaded beer fridge donated by Fort Garry Brewing!
- Copies of Crop Cycle
- Shirts and other fine product from other Manitoba Breweries including Half Pints, Barley Brothers, Grape and Grain and more!
Representatives from local Breweries will be there to discuss the finer points of the fine barley-based beverage and donate prizes to the raffle! If you like beer, Brewmasters and supporting a good cause, the All-Grain Charity Beer Auction is for!
